Take Action

After years studying the health and environmental risks and harms, New York State rightly concluded that fracking is not safe and banned it. Since the ban was announced in December 2014, hundreds of new peer-reviewed scientific studies have further confirmed that fracking is dangerous and harmful. Fracking isn’t safe anywhere and must be stopped everywhere.

Along with local, regional and national partners, we are working to educate people, build the movement and stop fracking. Take a number of actions today to help put an end to this destructive practice:

  • Sign the National Petition
Stop fracking on public lands and for the EPA to investigate cases of water contamination across the country.

  • Sign the Pennsylvania Petition
Tell Governor Tom Wolf to stop fracking and help harmed families in Pennsylvania!

  • Learn More
Learn about different coalitions we are involved in and the actions and events they are working on.
