New York City: Hearing on the EPA study Tuesday August 24

Calling all New Yorkers!
Make your voices heard this coming Tuesday for a hearing on the proposed EPA study of hydraulic fracturing. Join City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn and City Council Member James Gennaro at this event to make sure the views of NYC residents are taken into consideration by the EPA.

199 Chambers Street in Lower Manhattan

Natural gas drilling in New York State could contaminate the drinking water of over 12 million NYC area residents. At this meeting NYC residents have the opportunity to comment on the official Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) study on the potential health and environmental impacts of fracking.
